Our glass insulators has ball and socket coupling,designed and tested according to IEC standard.Disc glass insulators are connected to make a string used on power lines,with one end connected to poles by fittings and other end connected to conductor or cables. The usage of such glass insulators string are mainly divided into 2 types: tension insulator string and suspension insulator string.

Zero value self-explosion, easy to visually inspect
The tempered glass insulator has the characteristics of zero value self-explosion, which can be observed only on the ground observation or helicopter, and there is no on-board chip detection, saving a lot of manpower and material resources.

Good self-cleaning performance and not easy to age
The glass insulator is not accumulate dirt and easy to clean. The glass insulators in typical lines will be periodically sampled for mechanical and electrical performance inspection.The result shows that the performance remains almost unchanged after years of using and no aging phenomenon has been found.

Good arc resistance performance
The surface of glass insulator which has been subject to lightning burns in service is still smooth and covered with toughened internal stress protective layer.Therefore,the product maintains enough insulating performance and mechanical strength.

Large main capacitance and uniform voltage distribution in series 
Dielectric constant of glass is kept between 7 and 8 lo make the main capacitance of glass insulator maintained at a relatively high level and uniformly distribute voltage to lower the voltage withstood by the insulators on the wire side and ground site, reduce the corona loss and lengthen the service life of glass insulator.
